Responding to COVID-19
The office is open by appointment only, and only one person at a time is scheduled. Masks are required at this stage of the pandemic, and we support this policy for all adults, teens, and younger school aged children. We can forward to you information about adapting masks to accommodate hearing aids.
This is a website about hearing in 2020.
Holiday and family celebrations often generate more than happy memories, agreements to not discuss politics, another painful rendition of the family song, rich food, and heartburn.
Noisy gatherings can identify emerging communication difficulties: the missed punch line, the "could you turn that up a bit please" or "come again?" phrases occurring with greater frequency. You'll tell yourself you hear fine for your age (so tell me, what does "you hear fine for your age" mean?). Denial is a powerful defense mechanism.
Usually a close family member will suggest you have a hearing problem. And holiday and family celebrations often generate more than happy memories. You're invited to search our website for information relevant to your pursuit of improved hearing at all the important events in your life. Welcome, thank you for your visit!
Sincerely,
Jan Dungan, Au.D., CCC-A
