About Appalachian Audiology

Appalachian Audiology, PLLC was organized by Dr. Jan Dungan to provide affordable, accessible, and beneficial hearing services to adults and children in East Tennessee.

The reference to Appalachia honors the heritage that permeates our lives and was forged by the Appalachian Mountains.

Located up on a hill, the office is a quiet place for testing, conversation, and access to state-of-the art diagnostic equipment and very effective hearing aids and accessories.

Appalachian Audiology provides some home-based as well as office-based services related to hearing loss, the need for hearing aids, auditory processing disorders, the symptoms of tinnitus and reduced speech understanding, extreme sensitivity to loud sounds, and sound conservation to individuals of all ages, from infancy through adulthood.
